Oh, Brigitta, where to begin?

I love you so very much and am so blessed to have gotten to know you so well over these past couple of years. I laugh when I think about the times you invited me to the MET Cloisters and the concert at Terminal 5 before we were friends. You were my rock on Exec during some insanely hectic times, and I could always count on you to help me process things I felt I could never understand about the world, people, and God’s faithfulness. I loved every trip to Chinatown and learning about Chinese culture through you. I loved gushing about Augustine and the beauty of medieval values together. I will definitely hold you to your promise to visit me in DC (Riggs would be so happy – and cautious – to meet you), and I can’t wait for whatever new food you will encourage me to try next (btw, thanks for all of your patience in teaching me how to eat with chopsticks; it’s a skill I show off proudly now). Anyways, as you know, I get long-winded and could go on and on. Cheers to all your hard work, and I am so excited to see you flourish as the Lord continues to lead you along His path. Congrats, dear friend.

Brigitta, it was such a privilege to have you in my writing classes in what was the first year at King’s for both of us. You’re an all-around amazing student, and I’m sure great things lie ahead for you. Congratulations, and all the best!
