Koby- congrats on graduation! I’m so glad we got to serve on some teams together and get to know each other! I’m very proud of you!

Koby, the impact you have had on this community is profound. You have been so intentional with your time here, investing in people is the best thing you could ever do, and you have done it with excellence. I look forward to seeing how you decide to impact the world beyond King’s, you will be missed.

Koby, you’re a treasure! Thank you for serving our community with dignity and grace as Student Body President and for your insightful and bold comments in our Politics and Literature Class this semester; your love for learning and for life is evident. I pray you continue to pursue the truth, wherever it may lead.

Koby, it was a pleasure to have you in my literature classes. I’ll never forget the time you turned off the lights and recited scary poetry from Shakespeare! Best of luck in whatever you decide to do next.

Koby, Congrats! The road might have been like a difficult journey to take but you made it through it! I am so proud of you! I am glad that I met you. You are such a supportive friend! I will always keep admiring you. Thank you for always picking up the phone whenever I need a friend. I enjoy all the advice that you had always provided for me. It was very helpful. I wish you the best in your career. NEVER give up my friend.

Koby,
You have become one of my closest friends at King’s over our time here. I appreciated seeing your wisdom, temperance, and love for the community in action. You were absolutely the right man for the job as SBP and King’s flourished under your leadership.

Koby! What an absolute joy it has been to get to know you this year. Thank you for always bringing a smile to everyone’s faces and for always being willing to talk! Thanks for bringing the Churchill name back to the role of SBP. You’ll be greatly missed!

Some people have style and others substance—you have both. Thank you for your years of service/leadership at TKC. It has been great to get to see you work so hard for this community.

Congratulations, Koby! It was a privilege getting to serve on the Council with you. You truly have a generous heart and a desire to genuinely serve others with truth and clarity. Your transparency and fearlessness taught me much about how to be a truly good leader. I look forward to seeing all the good works you will continue to do in this next chapter of life.

Koby! While I am always grateful for you, I was particularly thankful and inspired during your time as SBP. What a year! And you continued to lead diligently and with grace. You’re willingness to serve others is so evident. You extend kindness in abundance and our community is much better because of your part in it. I hope you feel as loved as you have made King’s feel.

Congratulations Koby!! It’s always been such a joy to run into you and have classes with you at King’s. You’re so generous in the way that you talk with people, making them feel valued and at home wherever they are. It’ll be exciting to see how many other people you bless with your sheer friendliness as you walk into post-grad life!

Koby, thank you for the impact you’ve made on our community. I hope you’ve been encouraged as much as you’ve encouraged others. May God richly bless you as you move forward!

The man, the myth, the legend:

Koby you are something else bro. Your impact on the College can never be erased, but even more importantly, your friendship and brotherhood has been an incredible gift for me. I’m really proud of your humbleness in success, and EVEN PROUDER of your grit through failure. We will always keep it pushing brother, and I promise we gon bust though everything in front of us.

I love and appreciate you my guy. Respect.

Koby Jackson— my president, co-worker, teammate, and friend! You know I love you and am so so proud of you. Honored to be your friend since day one. Wishing you all the best for what’s next.

Congrats Koby! you are the embodiment of what service really looks like. You made everyone you met feel so seen (including myself) and you were such a big part of making this college feel more like a family. Thanks for everything you’ve done and I wish you all the best 🙂

Koby!!! All I can say is that I am so happy we got to work together on the Cabinet and became friends! You have been such a blessing in my life and are so good at supporting others. You truly have an eye for spotting potential and taking a chance on people. I cannot wait to see what comes next for you! You are one of the best leaders I have ever met or worked with, and I do not say that lightly. You have a gift for making people feel seen and understood, and I genuinely am so happy to say congratulations on this great accomplishment!

Koby, Congratulations! I am so happy for you on your graduation and looking forward to seeing where God leads and uses you next. You will be missed, but your impact on the College will remain. I encourage you to continue to ‘Be strong and courageous! …for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.’ Joshua 1:9
Blessings Koby! Keep smiling!

Kobyyyyy! Congratulations on graduating! Hopefully know you won’t be wandering around campus anymore. You’re pretty cool.

Koby, congratulations! You had a massive impact on the life of the college for the good! You made the college a better place. So proud of you! Your legacy will echo here for years. Looking forward to your next chapter!

To my baby brother,

I am so proud and honored to be your big sister. Just reading all of these comments let’s me know you did exactly what needed to be done. You are GEM. You are a LEADER. You made yourself SEEN. You were HEARD. YOU ARE LOVED! Do not ever STOP. I won’t let you stop. I will always be here to catch you when you fall (and send you lunch money of course). I love you beyond words, and I am so dang proud of you. Whenever it starts not making sense, always refer back to our favorite quote by Marianne Williamson:

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Onward,

Big Sissy <3

Koby—it was a pleasure working with you in admissions and getting to know you better throughout our time at King’s. Thanks for leading our student body so well, I’m excited to see where God takes you in the future!

KOBY!!! Congratulations and may God bless you in all your future endeavors!!!

Oh Koby! Congratulations son on your graduation and all of your accomplishments at King’s! We are so very proud of you!! I remember when you first told us you wanted to attend college in New York, and us having feelings of uncertainty. We did not want you to be over a thousand miles away from us, but God gave us such a great peace about it. We were reminded that He orders the steps of the righteous and that you were going to be okay. I remember when you were just 3 years old and how much you loved watching court tv with me. You would literally stop playing with your toys and hop on the couch next to me whenever a court case would come on.

Your heart has always been pure, Koby. You love God and you love people. Your love for helping others and bringing about change is evident. You are a blessing to us and you are truly a gem. As you move forward in the next season of your life, continue to stay close to Jesus and seek His directions in all you do. Be reminded of His promises to you. He declares in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord-plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

We love you so much son and I’m so thankful we get to see you graduate today!

Blessings to you always,
Mom & Dad ❤️

I first met you because you were one of the first students to choose the Humanities major and I needed your help on a story. Then I had the pleasure of seeing you on campus and learning about our shared appreciation for Sarah Kay. I know I only saw a tiny fraction of all that you did for our community during your service as SBP and in the years before and after. You have made an incredible impact on King’s and I am so grateful for you. Please stay in touch and let us know how we can help you in the future!

Koby,

Please accept my belated congratulations in earning your Humanities degree and graduating from TKC in the spring. I also commend you for your service to the college, especially–but not only–as Student Body President. Moreover, I was delighted to have you as a student in both Statesmanship and Constitutional Law. One of my big regrets about academic year 2020-21 was that we rarely saw each other because of the pandemic. Nonetheless, I hope that we’ll stay in touch in the years ahead. Wishing you many blessings!

As ever,
DLT
