Notes for Marisol

That’s my roommate! I love you. Over the past four years, you have inspired me to become a woman of better discernment and greater generosity. You have shown me and the people around you a taste of God’s unconditional love, and for that, I am grateful. I couldn’t have made it through these last four years without you. You are an amazing friend, student, and professional. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for you!

Congratulations, Marisol! I’m celebrating with you and excited to see where you go from here. All the best and stay in touch!

Marisol!! I am so excited for this exciting new journey ahead for you!! You have worked so hard to get to this point and i’m so proud of you! It has been a joy to laugh with you over the past couple years!

Marisol,
I am so excited to be graduating with you. Getting to work on the Council with you last year was such a blast and I greatly enjoyed getting to see how well you handled Herculean tasks like keeping us presidents on track. You are such a graceful and kind person and we are all lucky to have had you.

BUDDY! I am genuinely SO PROUD OF YOU. I am so glad I asked if you wanted to take the train with me after I, T, and E. As someone new to the city, I was terrified of going home alone and asked you out of fear haha- I guess that was a good decision. Turns out, you have become one of my closest friends at King’s. You are more than capable of accomplishing all the big things. Just know that you have people in your corner rooting for you! I LOVE YOU, BUDDY!

MARI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh goodness gracious me. Where do I even begin to describe how grateful I am for you? You are such a steadfast and trustworthy friend. You delight in lovely things and embody the color yellow. You’re my adventure buddy (let’s go stargazing and frolic in the rain sometime again). You’re my go-to moving partner. You challenge me to be my best self. You’re not afraid to call me out when I’m very much not that and, all the while, you have so much grace for my many flaws. I’m so glad we discovered each other.

You’re also one of the most competent and dependable people that I know. You have a ridiculously sharp eye for understanding what’s going on in any given situation. You loyally commit to the people and causes you care about. Thank you for letting me be your friend, for rolling your eyes at my clumsiness, for sharing the things you delight in with me. You’re such a blessing and I’m so grateful to be in your life, through college and afterwards <3 <3

Mari—the long days, unbearable meetings, the eye contact and eye rolls, the expense report signatures, and desk visits will be some of my favorite memories. I love you and miss you my sweet Californian friend! Wishing you all the best!

Marisol!,
I love you so much. You are the best big and one of my biggest supporters during some of the hardest times of my college career. You are doing such good things and I am so excited for you. Hope to properly celebrate surviving such a crazy year soon!

I can’t believe I was lucky enough to find a friend in you. You are so smart, so kind, and so determined. You do everything with excellence and care, and you never back down from what you believe. You have an infectious laugh and the best sense of humor. I look forward to being your friend for many, many more years and drinking many more cups of diner coffee (the very best coffee). Thank you for everything, and thank you for making the last two years of school so bright.

MARI!!!! Congratulations, so proud of you girl!!! I loved our talks and laughs in the hallways at school, and just how kind you are. May God bless you continually!!!

Marisol, congratulations!! I’m so thankful to have known you. Thank you for inspiring and encouraging me to run for DoF. You’ve been such a positive influence in my life and I hope you continue on to bigger and better things. I’m so happy and proud of you!!
