Notes for Rachael

Rachael, congratulations on all your hard work over the past four years! You did it! I have enjoyed every interaction I have had with you, and wish you all the best.

Warmest Wishes

Rach! It’s been so fun having you in NYC and at King’s over the past four years. Who would’ve thought our #flackfamreunions would have resulted in where we are today? I’m glad you’re staying in NYC so we can continue our dinner and coffee dates. As you graduate from King’s, I’m confident that your kindness, authenticity, and resilience will serve you well when you kill it at Ross, and everywhere else the Lord takes you. I love you, and congratulations!

Congratulations, Rachael! It has been such a joy to get to know you and make memories at King’s together. Can’t wait to watch you take on NYC post-grad! 💛

My little sister!!
You have grown immensely in your time at King’s. Moving from a small town to a big city isn’t easy, but you transitioned with ease. I am so proud of you for creating a home in New York. May this next chapter in your life be filled with laughter and friendship. You’ve shown the world that it doesn’t matter where you come from or how difficult your childhood may have been, you can achieve anything. Congratulations, I love you.

My sweet Rach!! I’m not sure what I would’ve done without you the last couple years. You make life so beautiful and radiant! I am so proud of you and what you’ve accomplished, especially in this year of craziness. I can’t wait to see what you’ll do in this next chapter! I love you chicken! Cheers to you! 🤍🥂

Rach! I am so so proud of you. Remember when we would go and study together at The Bean? You are my favorite study buddy! I am always looking up to you and your work ethic. Congratulations!

Congratulations Rachael! We are so excited for you as you start your career in a great job, in an exciting city. Always keep that adventurous spirit and continue to strive to be the best you can be!! You are on your way and we couldn’t be happier for you or love you more!!😘♥️

The last of the Albin girls is graduating college! I can’t say enough how proud of you I am. You worked hard to get to where you are today; you overcame challenges with grace; you chased your dreams; and no matter what life threw your way, you remained positive, kind, and true to who you are. You are going to do amazing things with your life, and I can’t wait to see where God takes you next. Love you forever, little sister.

“She believed she could, so she did.” Where do I begin….oh yes, the moment in the kitchen where you boldly stated, “I AM going to the King’s College in New York City!” While in that moment and weeks later I struggled to understand how that was even possible financially, you proceeded to show me. You applied to The King’s College and were accepted. You then learned of a full ride scholarship and you told me, “I AM going to get that scholarship!” And you did. My adventurous daughter, the first to really leave home (like thousands of miles away), packed your bags and started a new journey in a city where you knew no one. I watched you navigate Uber, grocery shopping, airports, friendships, academics, negotiating leases, and moving to another apartment over the Brooklyn Bridge during a pandemic (an experience Ken and I will never forget). In your Junior year, you saw the opportunity with Ross, the golden internship that hundreds desire, and you told me, “I AM going to get that internship.” And you did. When the internship was complete, Ross invited all interns to apply for an assistant buyer position that again hundreds would apply for. You told me, “I AM going to get that job!” And, you did!

I could not have asked for a more bright, beautiful and talented daughter. You are everything and more a Mother could wish for. New York City is a better place with you in it and I look forward to watching you shine in your new role as a buyer. I love you more than words can say. Love, your Momma and biggest fan!

Rachel!
Where should I begin? First of all,so many hugs and congratulations for not only graduating but doing extremely well! Obtaining a job that many others so want! Moving to NYC, learning how to use the subways, taking the Kings classes,(which are not only very different from other colleges but extremely difficult)! Finding and researching how to find an affordable apartment, figuring out to move , how to find a local coffee shop, grocery store, how to use Uber, decorating an apartment on a budget. Figuring out how to get along with your roommate!
We adore you, are so proud of you and love that Kennedy has found a life long friend! Will continue to pray for your happiness, health and safety. Go on into the world and make a difference! Can’t wait to come hug you sometime soon! Much love, Sandy Dickie
