Notes for Samantha

Congrats, Sami! I am so proud of the work you have done and so impressed by your leadership in QE1 this year. Thanks for serving and leading the women of your House well! Congrats again!

Sami, it was a pleasure getting to know you in class and through Apostles Brooklyn!

Congratulations Sami! I cannot wait to see how the Lord directs your steps. I am grateful to have you around this year and that we had the opportunity to go through RCIA together.

Sami Kelly! I’m SO glad you decided to start sitting at the library table. Thank you for all the adventures we’ve had & for being such a faithful friend. I’m so excited to see what God will do in your life as you enter this next season. Congratulations <3

Hey Sami! WE DID IT. I am so proud of you and thankful we got todo this together. I cannot wait for your wedding and to reminisce on all the things! Thanks for all the walks and talks and fun CO memories!

SAMI!!!!! I just love your loving spirit and your calming presence. You make those around you feel so loved and so welcome, and I’m so grateful to have gotten to have you as a friend and classmate. Wishing you all the best as you graduate and walk into this next season of life <3 <3

Sami! It’s been a pleasure getting to serve with you on the Council. I am so glad I got to know who you are as a person a little more this year. I admire your intelligence, work ethic, perseverance, and commitment to your community here at King’s! I’m sad you’re not staying in the city, but I know that you are off to big things. You will definitely impact whatever community you join next for the better—they are lucky to have you!

Sami! I genuinely love you so much. Although I am happy you have a new lifelong roommate, I must confess that I am quite sad we will not be roommates again. Our conversations and funny jokes have been much like life; filled with unexpectedness (is this even a word??) but in the best and coolest way. I love you, Sami! You are gonna be the best granola girl/wife ever!!

Congrats, Sami! Your patience and grace while serving the house and King’s is worthy of admiration. I’m grateful to have met you and worked with you. I know so many wonderful things are in store! Cheers, Brittany

Sami! President Queen 👑 I hope you know how much I love you because there is simply no way to put all of my favorite memories of you into this little box. I will say that going to Boston on the windiest day of the year is pretty high up there. And having dance parties on our desks when we lived on campus (sorry to our friends in housing). Thanks for opening the door whenever I forgot my keys. Also, throwback to the very first picture I ever took of you!

Sami Kelly! Congratulations! It’s been so fun sharing life with you at King’s. Your humor is one of a kind, and I love laughing with you. Can’t wait for you to enjoy your full fledged post-graduation granola life — you’ve put in so much hard work, you’ve earned the break. I’m proud of you!

Sami,
Thank you for always going slow enough to notice others around you and offer them your smile and your time, even if just to check in on how they are. This is something so special about you. A big congratulations! I’ll be in Colorado all June. Maybe I’ll see you. 🙂

Sami, you are such a queen! thank you for your kindness and service. you are gonna be so missed but also I am so excited for the next chapters ahead. I pray peace and joy for you. Congrats friend 🙂

Congrats Sami!! I am so blessed to have gotten to know you as my big, as the amazing president and fellow exec member of QE1, and, above all, as a friend. You are so incredible and kind and you are an inspiration to me and to everyone who knows you. I’m going to miss you next year but I’m so excited to see the next step God has planned for you. Congrats!

Congratulations Sami!!! May God bless you in all your future endeavors!!!

Congratulations, Sami! I feel so lucky to have gotten to spend Day Away with you this year before you graduated. I’m grateful for your presence on campus – you will be missed!

Sami!!!!!

My friend! My roommate! My little!! (Or, maybe we’re more like QE1 twins instead of bigs and littles?!) 😉 Hehe! I miss you so much already and we’ve only been apart for, what, 3 days?!?!!! 🙁 I am so proud of you and everything you have accomplished over these last four years of college (at community college and at King’s!). Thanks for being you through and through. You are such a hard worker, a kind friend, and you have done above and beyond despite all of the things that have come against you. You are one of the strongest people I know. I am sooo sooo proud of you, and I am so happy for your future! Congrats to you and Jake on getting married this summer! But first, congrats on graduating college! You did it! And, you learned a lot of beautifully valuable things!!! Congratulations! The world is blessed by you!

Sami!! You are the perfect fulfillment of grace, discernment, and monarchy and I feel so blessed to have been privy to the sweet blessing you have been to QE1 and to King’s. I’ve learned from you that it’s okay if our dreams change, and it’s often even a really good sign that they do. I’m so glad that your dreams once brought you to New York, and I’m so excited to continue to see where they bring you and Jake next. Wishing you the best, my friend. We did it!!

Samantha,

Although I am late in writing this note, I wanted to congratulate you on earning your PPE degree and graduating from King’s in May. I was flattered that you took four courses with me, and you made valuable contributions in every one of them. Your consistently strong academic work was even more impressive because of your extracurricular obligations. I hope we’ll stay in touch. Wishing you many blessings!

As ever,

DLT
