Wow! Time flew by. It was yesterday when you spoke to us from Minnesota about coming to King’s! We have appreciated your positive attitude on campus and your ability to jump in to work at the EST. Godspeed as you go forward from TKC! Psalm 90:12

Notes for Serena

Sweet friend, it’s been amazing to watch you develop into such a strong, confident and awesome leader. Your positive spirit, even when you’re personally down and struggling, is such a gift to all of us around you. Thanks for taking risks and letting God use in great ways (like winning Interregnum events!!) Love you and so excited for what is ahead for you!

Congrats, Serena! You have been such a beautiful spirit on this campus for the last few years! I am so grateful for your smile and your leadership with ten Boom and Student Services. You always made my day better. Congratulations again and good luck with the future!

Congrats, Serena! When I think of you I think of joy and light! You’ve been such a positive person to know and talk to at the Student Services desk! So proud of all you have accomplished at King’s! I’m so glad to know you. Wishing you the best as you head abroad next!

Serena. You are one of the few ten Boomers who’s college journey I have gotten to be a part of from start to finish. And what a journey it has been! The last thing anyone would say about you is that you did this in half measure. You have taken King’s College and everything it has to offer and squeezed out every bit of life that you could. Throwing all of yourself into the relationships, experiences, classes, and roles that you were a part of. You are an embodiment of joy, peace, and valor. And upon graduation, I would say that you truly are leaving good, brave, and ready for whatever is next. So proud to call you friend.

Dear Serena,

Thank the Lord I moved into 2217 freshman year 😉 I can’t imagine my time at King’s without you. I’m so excited to watch Jesus continue in your life & I’m beyond proud of who you’ve become.

I love you forever & always <3

Serena, my dear friend! I am so thankful for you and our friendship. I’ve loved all of our adventures and conversations together. I can’t wait to see where God takes you as you embark on yet another adventure! I love you!!

I’m so glad this isn’t officially goodbye because that would be heartbreaking! You are pure JOY Serena. You light up every room with your infectious kindness and humility. First stop graduation, next stop, LONDON Baby!! Kindred spirits always <3

Congrats, Serena! You were one of the very first people I met at King’s at Inviso, and I’m so thankful you’ve become such a close friend. I’m looking forward to our summer together, being Europe buddies in the fall, and always being sisters in Christ no matter where we end up. I love you so, so much, and I’m so proud of the hard work you’ve done over the past three years. Let’s celebrate!

Congratulations Serena!!! I am so proud of all you’ve done and you are gonna do some amazing things!!! I love your infectious love for the house and all you’ve poured into it! <3 Congrats again!

Serena, you are such a dear and treasured friend. From the time I first stalked you before you came in as a freshmen up to now, I’m just amazed at your heart for the Lord and for others. You are so gifted in making people feel seen and cared for. Though I got to welcome you to King’s, you were the one who made me feel so sought after and well-loved and you continue to do so every time I see you. Your face literally glows with love and curiosity, and it’s so clear that Lord is doing great work through you. He already has and you can see it in the way that your love has blessed more people at King’s than you will ever know. When I look at you, I’m always reminded of Psalm 34:5 because you so faithfully look to the Lord in all things and, because of it, you are simply radiant and will never regret resting your hope in Him. I will hound you for updates in your life while you’re in Denmark. We will continue to get many coffees until then. But all in all, I am just so grateful to call you my friend and sister.

With a heart abounding in love,

I just read all the comments from your friends…and as I write this, tears are streaming down my face. I am so proud of you Serena for all that you are and all the people that you have touched. Your grades are amazing, and your love for God…and for people are so evident. Thank you for who you are and how you have let God mold your life. I couldn’t have written a script for for your life and for what you have planned that would be anything more than what you have accomplished and are accomplishing. I love you Serena…..and I am a very proud father 😊☝️💕
